Our Mission: To save adoptable cats and dogs in Putnam County, Florida, by finding them loving homes. Through dedicated rescue efforts, community advocacy, and support, we work tirelessly to end unnecessary animal deaths and give every pet the chance they deserve.
At Paws for Putnam, we are dedicated to helping the abandoned and neglected pets of Putnam County find loving homes. In partnership with Putnam County Animal Services, we provide essential support to animals in need, ensuring they receive the care, love, and attention they deserve.

We Support Putnam County Animal Services
At Paws for Putnam, our primary mission is to support the animals in the Putnam County Animal Control Shelter, located at 174 County Landfill Road, Palatka, FL 32177. These pets have often been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered, and they need our help to find loving homes.
The shelter provides a safe space for dogs and cats while they await adoption. Many of these animals are available for adoption through the shelter’s Facebook page: Putnam’s Furry Adoptables. You can also contact the shelter directly at 386-329-0396 for more information on how to adopt or support the animals in need.
By supporting the animals at the Putnam County Animal Control Shelter, we are working to give each pet a second chance at life in a forever home. Whether through donations or adoption, your involvement makes a significant impact on their lives.
